This provides them with directly relevant skills, standout resume experience, generates income, and grows their ability to become transformative forces for good in their communities. They receive all this invaluable experience while getting paid, rather than going into debt or being unable to pay for school.
The BIG Picture
ZETU’s core mission emerged from a strategic inquiry aimed at identifying ways to facilitate opportunity and effect systemic changes for all members of the Kenyan community. Extensive research revealed that empowering Kenyans to become drivers of change within their community was critical to achieving these goals. As such, ZETU was founded as an organization focused on facilitating the growth of university graduates into dynamic and influential change-makers by increasing their networks, resources, and technical skillsets. By providing these emerging leaders with the necessary tools to transform their communities and contribute to the nation’s economic empowerment, ZETU is making significant strides towards its vision of a more equitable and prosperous Kenya.
